In this troubling political climate, I as a progressive life-long Missourian, long-time University City resident, parent, and teacher, am glad that Joe Adams is running to represent us in the 14th district of our state senate. Joe has a long record of effectively and respectfully serving his fellow citizens, from his time on the city council to his 14 years as U. City’s mayor, to his years as a state representative. As a history professor for over 30 years, Joe understands intimately the needs of our state’s colleges and students, and he will continue to advocate for them. Education is just one area of many in which I know Joe will offer a powerful voice for what is right and needed in Missouri. Joe has the necessary experience, knowledge, and temperament to work across the aisle to get things done for our district and our state. We will be fortunate to have him represent us. I urge you to vote for Joe Adams on August 7th.

Janet Majerus, Former Mayor of University City
James McGee, Former Mayor of Vinita Park
John S. Meyer, Jr.
I endorse Joe Adams for election to the Missouri Senate because I admire his integrity, commitment to public service, passion for education and belief that everyone deserves adequate medical care.
I have been privileged to serve alongside Joe as a volunteer member of the board of the Loop Trolley Company, a Missouri not-for-profit company. Joe is willing to share his time, energy and good judgment to support the sometimes controversial effort to bring a trolley to The Loop because he believes it will be good for the St. Louis region.
